Okay anon, this is really long. But i’ll make it for you :)

So… here it goes.

1. Download mp4 videos from Youtube and you can download them online using savevid.com. (make sure it’s mp4!)

2. When your video is finished downloading, Open up Photoshop.

3. Got to File>Import>Video Frames to Layers. A box should now pop up.

4. You should now choose your file from the list. After that, click load.

5. Again, a box should now pop up. Select the “Selected Range Only” option and adjust the “Limit to every __ Frames” I usually do 3

6. Pay attention to this! Now find the part that you want to gif by moving the slider 

now if you see the part that you want, press Shift while pressing the forward and backward or whatever buttons simultaneously.

7. Click Ok. If you don’t see the Animation dock. Go to Windows>Animation.

8. You can now see your frames. You can adjust the delay time by pressing the small arrow button at the bottom of the frame thumbnail

8. Make sure that you set it to Loop Forever.

9. Once you’re satisfied, go to file> Save for Web & Devices and your gif should be lower than 500 kb or else it’s not gonna move on Tumblr. You can reduce the file size by reducing the image size or crop it.

10. Once you’ve saved your gif, go to Tumblr new photo and BOOM! You’re done :)
